Hi, I want to explain about one of Indonesian artist. He is Agung Kurniawan. How is He painting method and create it ? Let's reading this report. 

Creating work of art frequently will cause a repetitive theme. The new challenge will force me to be creative, sometimes depressed or frustrated. However, that is the interesting part of being an artist. If we stop changing we will be trapped into a comfort zone, which is signposted by certain identity. Take an example, Affandi by his abstract scratches which is considered as part of his identity. In my opinion, it is just a comfort zone. Affandi is just too lazy to explore other forms. I do not wish to resemble Affandi who was trapped in his comfort zone. Sketching the same painting from early 20 until he reached 83. I want to keep continuously changing because basically. Creative ideas are reflected in the character of change itself.

My last work was a trellis, I created a work made of trellis.

I saw some of failed trellises patched onto the wall that evening were stroke by the shadow. Bingo…..!!! the shadow made my work various. Then I moved all the form to trellises. Actually that was not just an accident. I made the work for such a long time. I just waited for the right momentum until the work appeared with my theme. So, it was like a planned meeting which happened accidentally. The narrative that I made and the media suited each other.The rigid hard rocked trellis became vague and invisible as it was stroked by the shadow. I thought this suited the past narrative, memory theme well.

Therefore, I have been using the trellis as the main media for the last two years through I still made some sketches.It's method to be come from imagination. So, I thinks it's new create to give either color in the art painting. I hope so.
